Fabulous accommodation on the main island giving you easy access by car to everything. Fantastic hosts that met us on arrival. Wonderful welcome box with Orkney goodies to enjoy. Beautiful warm accommodation with powerful shower, great views, comfy beds. Telescope to watch the wildlife. Bird hide to see the hen harriers close by is a treat.

Washing up liquid and a tea towel would have been good, I didnt cook so only 2 mugs and side plates to wash. A picture or two would be nice.

We had a fantastic stay at Cottiscarth Cottages. The location is perfect, with Kirkwall just 15 minutes away and Stromness only 20 minutes away. The cottage itself is luxurious and well-maintained, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The hosts, Robbie and Eileen, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even provided a lovely gift basket filled with delicious Orkney treats upon our arrival. The views from the cottage are breathtaking, overlooking the bay and lighthouses in the distance. We especially enjoyed the bird hide and telescope for wildlife watching. our experience at Cottiscarth Cottages was excellent and we highly recommend it.

Luxurious and well-appointed cottages with friendly hosts. Thoughtful welcome gift basket and stocked fridge. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and lovely walk-in showers. Beautiful views from the lounge windows. Great location for exploring the area. Will definitely return.

The hosts were beyond lovely, with great communication and genuine kindness shown. The property is in a great location, off the main road but close to everything. It's family-friendly and offers a tranquil location with beautiful views towards the sea. The apartment is modern, clean, and fully equipped for a self-catering holiday.

Felt very lucky to have found this place, as there was nothing to complain about.
