The communication with the staff was quick and friendly. The pod and toilet block were clean, and the overall setting was very fitting to the location. The small and closely managed site provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The natural spaces around the pods were well-kept and private. The walks from the campsite were lovely, and the local town was perfect for a lazy brunch or a supply run. It was also great that dogs were welcomed and that there was respect for those who may not be dog lovers.

There were only 2 showers and 2 toilets for 4 pods, which often caused us to wait. The lack of bedside reading lights made it difficult to read while someone else wanted to sleep.

Lovely pods nestled in a peaceful wooded glen. The owner gave us a warm welcome and ensured our stay was comfortable. The location was perfect, offering tranquility while still being close to nearby Leyburn. The facilities were always clean. I especially enjoyed the beautiful views from the pod at sunrise and sunset. I highly recommend Cow Close Camping Pods for a relaxing getaway.
