I had a great stay at this charming hotel near the lake. The location was convenient with ample parking. The staff in the restaurant were exceptionally friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. The buffet breakfast was a treat and the lake view from the rooms and restaurant was stunning. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Everything is what I need and want.

We recently stayed at a charming hotel in the heart of the Lake District for a few nights. The rooms were well equipped and clean, with some even featuring a luxurious spa bath. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk away from Bowness Bay and within reach of Windermere. Ample parking is available both at the front and rear of the hotel, making it easy for guests with cars. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide selection of tasty options to choose from.

We highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to local pubs and within walking distance to everything. The staff, from the bar staff to the breakfast staff, were all friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and the bathroom was lovely. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options and the view over the lake was beautiful. the hotel provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Some aspects of the hotel, such as the dated furniture and carpets in certain areas, could use some updating.

Great location for walking to both villages. Dog-friendly! Nice rooms, comfortable bed, and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the bar and beer garden.

This hotel, located in a great access area, was the perfect choice for a relaxing escape. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a warm welcome and provide excellent service throughout our stay. The basic amenities were well-maintained, and the rooms boasted gorgeous views that were truly breathtaking. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the comfortable lounges, soaking in the scenery through the large windows. And the breakfast. oh, the breakfast! The poached eggs were absolutely divine, cooked to perfection and served with a smile.

All was in order, with nothing to fault.

The recently refurbished room and bathroom were immaculate, with lovely decor. The daily cleaning service and replenished amenities were a thoughtful touch. The breakfast selection was excellent, with delicious pastries, toast, and a choice of coffee and juice. The restaurant and bar had a relaxed ambiance and stunning views of the mountains. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk to the lake and shops. We can't wait to return!

The location was spot on, with both Windermere and Bowness just a short walk away. Being able to explore both towns easily was a great advantage. Another positive aspect was the friendly and welcoming staff who made our stay enjoyable. They went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Lastly, the breakfast was amazing, with delicious and filling options that set us up for the day.

There were a few negatives that affected our overall experience. the rooms were lacking soundproofing, making it difficult to sleep when we could hear conversations from the next room.

The views from the dining room were beautiful. Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked, and had a great selection. Staff were very friendly. Great location.
