The themed rooms and garden were fantastic, and Cecilia, our host, was a gem. She went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay. the breakfast was a highlight, with a delightful dining experience shared with other guests and locally sourced goodies. Wish the Wi-Fi signal in the rooms was a bit stronger, but overall, it didn't dampen our enjoyment of the cozy country retreat. 🌳.

Despite the small drawbacks of the wifi speed and cramped bathroom, I would highly recommend this hotel for its friendly owners, beautiful location, and fantastic dining experiences. We had a brilliant one night stay at a country retreat. the room was spacious, clean, and had a fabulous bath and comfortable bed. the staff were friendly and professional. the food was of a high standard, with delicious breakfast options and freshly prepared dinners. We also enjoyed the beautiful walk at Brigstock bay on the coast.

The bathroom in our room only had a hand-held spray over the bath, which wasn't ideal. some of the furniture and materials in the room seemed dated and could use refreshing.

Spent Xmas at a lovely country hotel surrounded by farms. Great value for the price! Enjoyed the spacious and clean rooms and the charming gardens. the staff were excellent and accommodating. Loved the Honesty bar and the delicious meals. Met some wonderful people.

The GPS was not very accurate, so make sure to ask for detailed directions ahead of time. there were limited dining options nearby, so it may be necessary to drive or book meals ahead of time.
