Arriving at Craven Garth Cottages felt like stepping into a cozy retreat. The cottage had a charming character, with beautiful linen and generous towels provided. The views around the farm were absolutely stunning.

Although some areas of the cottage needed modernization, such as the bathrooms and bedroom, it didn't hinder our enjoyment. It would have been helpful to have baby gates on the top floor under the wooden beams, but we managed fine.

We had a great weekend in beautiful accommodation situated in an amazing location. The cottage was clean, cosy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were welcoming and offered local advice. The property had spacious rooms and a large flat screen TV. The grounds were well-kept and there was outside space available. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the area and the stunning views. A bottle of wine and a little goody bag for our dog were lovely touches. We will definitely be returning.

The fridge was quite small, which could be an issue for larger groups or families.

We had a fantastic Easter getaway! The accommodation was just as it looked in the pictures and even better than expected. It was clean, spacious, and had all the necessary equipment in the kitchen. We loved the remote location and the fact that there were beautiful walks right from our doorstep. The wood provided for the fire was a nice touch, creating a cozy atmosphere in the evenings. Another great advantage was having access to Netflix on the TV for those nights in. The local pubs, less than 2 miles away, provided a convenient and enjoyable dining option. it was a quiet and peaceful stay, exactly what we were looking for.

The extremely firm mattress in one of the bedrooms. It was uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

If you want a peaceful and relaxing getaway, this place is perfect. With stunning views of rolling hills and sheep, you'll wake up to a rural heaven. The cottages are clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and a wood burner for those chilly winter nights. The kitchen is well-equipped and the hosts are helpful and readily available. Plus, the wifi is excellent and there is ample parking.

A few more plates would be helpful for larger groups.

I couldn't be happier with my stay at this hidden gem. The value for money was exceptional, and the cottage felt like a cozy home away from home. The breathtaking views from the property were the cherry on top. The staff, particularly Ena, made us feel welcomed and even personalized our experience with a lovely name plaque.

the cottage had kitchen facilities and a cosy log fire, with logs provided just a few steps away. the location was perfect for walks through the fields, especially with dogs. It was also conveniently located, just a half-hour drive from both Whitby and Scarborough. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and I couldn't fault their service. I would highly recommend this place for a nice short break away.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy and warm cottage at the foot of our hiking trail. The location was exactly what we were looking for. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome package, including fizz and flowers. The cottage itself was compact but clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host made us feel welcome and then left us to enjoy a peaceful holiday. The beds were super comfy with fresh, clean linen, ensuring we had a good night's sleep. The cottage had all the amenities of a home away from home. We also appreciated the little touches, like the chalkboard with our names on it, making check-in smooth and easy. Additionally, the location was ideal for day trips to nearby attractions, such as Flamingo Land and Whitby. We even enjoyed some delicious food at a rustic pub nearby. this was a lovely trip and we can't wait to return.

The surrounding area offers plenty of space for dogs to run around and there are even BBQ facilities available.

The interior of the cottage could use some updating, but it still provides everything you need for a comfortable stay.
