Great value for money, the room was clean and beautifully decorated. The location of the hotel was excellent, just a short walk away from popular attractions like York Minster and the National Railway Museum. The staff at Crook Lodge were extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast option could be improved with a wider variety of choices.

The off-street parking was very helpful as we were on a road trip. the hosts were welcoming and gave us tips on where to go. Breakfast was tasty and gave us energy for the day.

The room was way too small and cramped, barely enough for two people to move around. There were also cobwebs and dust in the room which wasn't pleasant.

I had an incredible experience at the hotel. The staff, including George, Steve, and the other guy, were exceptional. They provided outstanding service from the moment I arrived, helping with my luggage and giving me great recommendations. The location was perfect, close to famous spots and a short walk from the pick-up point. The apartment I stayed in was beautiful, with a jacuzzi that overlooked a stunning sunset. The staff assisted with arranging transportation and were always available for any needs I had. I was truly impressed by their friendliness and helpfulness.

The location was superb, with a quiet street and a beautiful park just a short walk away from the bustling city center. The owners, Carolyn and David, were warm and friendly, providing us with delicious breakfasts and helpful advice about the area. The room may have been small, but it was cozy and comfortable, with a great shower and a comfortable bed. The off-street parking was a bonus, and we appreciated the secure gates for our car. we highly recommend this little gem for a short stay in York.

The shower in our room had some issues with water temperature being inconsistent at times.
