Despite a couple of minor issues, our stay at Cross Keys was enjoyable. The location was convenient, and our room was spacious with ample storage space. The bathroom was also generously sized. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with the lovely beer garden, added to the positive experience.

Additionally, the menu options for ordinary food were limited. The rooms could use some maintenance and updating, especially the bathroom with the lack of a toilet roll holder and a broken towel rail.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The breakfast options were impressive, with three different types to choose from. I loved that the hot food was prepared in the kitchen and brought out fresh. The pub/restaurant was well-presented and the entire place was clean and tidy. The location was fine, and the beds were really comfortable. I had a relaxed and enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at this charming hotel and had a wonderful experience. My purpose for traveling was to visit family in the Middlesbrough/Redcar/Yarm area, and the location was perfect. Despite facing a busy road, our room was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful stay. The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was beautifully presented and had a great balance between pub grub and fine dining. The breakfast options, including a fully cooked English breakfast and a light bite selection, were delightful. the hotel had a relaxed vibe, thanks to the genuinely honest general manager and the happy staff.

In addition, the hotel provided good value for money, allowing us to have a romantic escape without breaking the bank. the hotel's location was also convenient, with key attractions and amenities within easy reach.

Noisy room and subpar amenities. Unfortunately, we couldn't open the window for fresh air due to the noise from the road outside, which was quite bothersome.

The breakfast served at the hotel was absolutely delicious and had a great variety of options to choose from. the staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, providing us with excellent service. Additionally, the fast service for our evening meal, which was offered to us in our room due to a busy restaurant, was a great convenience.

The water pressure in the shower was quite poor, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the location of the hotel on a main road meant that we couldn't open the window in our front-facing room due to the traffic noise.
