Our stay at the Cross Keys was a pleasant experience overall. The hotel had a large car park and our room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The morning staff at breakfast were cheerful and helpful. Despite a few drawbacks such as traffic noise and a dated bathroom, the bed was comfortable and the room was warm. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us when we discovered a shower issue. I would recommend this hotel.

Despite a couple of minor issues, our stay at Cross Keys was enjoyable. The location was convenient, and our room was spacious with ample storage space. The bathroom was also generously sized. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with the lovely beer garden, added to the positive experience.

Additionally, the menu options for ordinary food were limited. The rooms could use some maintenance and updating, especially the bathroom with the lack of a toilet roll holder and a broken towel rail.

Convenient location for Yorkshire moors and Middlesbrough. Basic rooms but well-equipped with triple glazing for minimal road noise. Onsite restaurant/pub and plenty of free parking. Clean and comfortable family room. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and easy-to-use bathroom with good quality towels and toiletries. Good food in the restaurant. Helpful and welcoming staff member. Good location for visiting the coast or Middlesboro.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The breakfast options were impressive, with three different types to choose from. I loved that the hot food was prepared in the kitchen and brought out fresh. The pub/restaurant was well-presented and the entire place was clean and tidy. The location was fine, and the beds were really comfortable. I had a relaxed and enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at this charming hotel and had a wonderful experience. My purpose for traveling was to visit family in the Middlesbrough/Redcar/Yarm area, and the location was perfect. Despite facing a busy road, our room was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful stay. The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was beautifully presented and had a great balance between pub grub and fine dining. The breakfast options, including a fully cooked English breakfast and a light bite selection, were delightful. the hotel had a relaxed vibe, thanks to the genuinely honest general manager and the happy staff.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere of the pub/bar was lovely and quaint. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast included eggs Benedict and buttermilk pancakes, and the dinner had a starter sharing plate with delicious options like Lamb kofta and Korean chicken. The staff were working hard and the room was spotless. The patio and green space provided a peaceful haven. The car park was spacious.

Excellent reception, quiet room, well-located for family visits, exceptional meals, tasteful decor and beautiful patio area. Close to parents and North York Moors, clean and comfortable rooms, helpful and friendly staff, cosy bar and restaurant, tasty breakfast with plenty of choices. Beautiful place with nice touches, relaxing bar area.

The breakfast served at the hotel was absolutely delicious and had a great variety of options to choose from. the staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, providing us with excellent service. Additionally, the fast service for our evening meal, which was offered to us in our room due to a busy restaurant, was a great convenience.

The water pressure in the shower was quite poor, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the location of the hotel on a main road meant that we couldn't open the window in our front-facing room due to the traffic noise.

The bar staff were incredibly friendly and the garden area was lovely. The beds were really comfortable and the room was clean. The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance and the food was very nice. It was great to have a bath in the room. a comfortable stay.
