I recently had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was ideal for a stop off on my journey to Scotland, as it was situated at a crossroads, making it easily accessible from the M6 motorway. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, with a personal touch that you just can't find in chain hotels. The room amenities were top-notch, including ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel also had a lovely terrace and patio area, perfect for enjoying a drink or just relaxing.

I would highly recommend this hotel to any family looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Our stay at Crossroads House was excellent despite a couple of minor issues. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and the provision of toiletries was a nice touch. We also appreciated the fresh milk available for beverages in the room. The ample parking and convenient location just off the M6 made it ideal for overnight travelers. The highlight of our stay was the delicious breakfast served by the welcoming host. we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this charming B&B.

Drawbacks: Although we enjoyed our stay, we did notice some road noise due to the double glazed windows not entirely blocking it out. Additionally, the TV in our room was positioned a little too high on the wall, leading to some neck discomfort while watching.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as a lack of glasses for drinking water in the room and some traffic noise at night, it did not diminish my overall positive impression of the hotel. I can confidently recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, situated on the outskirts of Carlisle near the racecourse and close to the motorway junction. There are also several pubs in the Lake District that are easily accessible from the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with deep pile carpets and high-quality furnishings. The breakfast served in the conservatory is delicious, and the hosts are welcoming and friendly. there are lovely whippets at the hotel that add to the charm.

The shower in one of the rooms had issues with water temperature, going from freezing to boiling hot.
