Well-equipped and clean rooms, perfect for a city break. Friendly staff, especially Joe who is very helpful. Great breakfast with lots of choices, served in the same building as the accommodation. Convenient location near train station, with a good pub nearby. Lovely town overall!

We had a fantastic time staying at this hotel with our group of friends. The location was perfect, right in the city centre and very close to most restaurants and bars. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were modern and clean, with comfortable beds and powerful showers. The breakfasts were amazing, with tasty options to choose from. We also loved the fact that the hotel was very close to everything we might need, including the historic castle.

That the rooms had stairs, which might be an issue for those who have difficulty managing them.

This hotel is an ideal choice for those looking for a centrally located stay in Lancaster. It is situated right in the heart of the town, within 5 minutes walking distance of absolutely everything. The convenience of its location is definitely a major plus point for this hotel.

parking issue

The breakfast, location, pub nearby, room, staff, and town were all great. Lovely view, cleanliness, size, bathroom, tea and biscuit selection, TV. Next to the venue, modern bedroom, traditional extras, and thin bed sheets were appreciated.

Nothing to fault.

The location of this hotel was excellent, with many bars and restaurants nearby. the check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. the rooms were clean, well-appointed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.

There was no on-site bar or restaurant, so we had to venture out for all our meals. the building did not have a staff present most of the time, which made it feel more like renting a room rather than staying in a hotel.

The hotel was well looked after, with a good-sized and clean room. the comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. One of the best aspects was the central location, just a short walk from both the train station and the town center. It was convenient and saved time during my city trip.

to get to reception and the dining room from the bedroom, I had to go outside and round the block. This may be due to the size and design of the building, but it was a bit of a hassle.

The room was a bit hot at night and the soundproofing was not great. We could hear noises from the street outside, but keeping the windows shut helped.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a great location, just a short walk from the train station and close to the city centre. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. Despite being near the main road, it was surprisingly peaceful. The breakfast was amazing, with plenty of options and generous portions. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing me to have a late check out to match my train schedule. the service was superb.
