Our family had a lovely stay at Daffodil Guest House. Peter went out of his way to accommodate our needs, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was convenient for exploring nearby towns. The wifi had a few hiccups, but it didn't deter us. Plus, parking wasn't directly available, but street parking nearby was fine. The shower required patience, and room info was lacking, yet the host's warmth and local knowledge made up for it. A perfect spot for car-free travelers too. And for dog owners, this place is truly welcoming!

The location of this hotel is perfect. You're not far from the beach, just down the road from the train station, and close to the town center. the staff here are so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. the breakfasts are absolutely delicious, with a good selection to choose from. I felt really safe staying here as a solo traveler. It was a great experience!

It would be great if the shower situation could be improved. Maybe a bit more patience is needed with it.

Great location, close to shops and sea front. The breakfast was enormous and tasty, and it kept me full until tea time. It was also nice to be able to come and go as I wanted, with no restrictions.

The en-suite shower room was very small, making it difficult to move around comfortably. The mirrors were also positioned too high, forcing me to stand on tip toe just to see myself.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the town centre, train station, and shops. Plus, it was not far from the beach. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities provided were top-notch. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and easy to get along with. I felt right at home here. The breakfast served was enormous and delicious, setting me up for the day. The convenience of being able to come and go as I pleased without any restrictions was a major plus. a fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house. The owners were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. They provided a delicious and filling breakfast that kept us satisfied until dinner. The other guests were also warm and welcoming, creating a friendly atmosphere. We appreciated the freedom to come and go as we pleased without any restrictions. The en-suite toiletries were a thoughtful touch. The location was ideal, with a supermarket and bus station right across the street, and the town and beach within easy walking distance. a fantastic experience that we highly recommend.

We had a brilliant stay at this hotel. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfy. The location was perfect, close to the town center, shops, pubs. We also loved that it was close to the train station and all the amenities. The breakfast was filling and nicely cooked. we had a fantastic experience.

had a lovely quick stop in filey and Daffodil exceeded my expectations! really friendly hosts, super clean room, and delish breakfast with vegetarian and gluten-free options. loved the takeout plates and condiments! perfect location near town center and public transport. will definitely be back next year with a plus one!

The hosts were incredibly accommodating, even keeping our luggage for us after checkout so we didn't have to carry it around. The room was spotlessly clean and the tea tray was well-stocked. We loved the skylight in our room, which allowed us to stargaze on clear nights. The location was perfect, with easy access to the country park and the train/bus station. The seafront and shops were just a short walk away. we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this guest house to friends and family.

The only small drawbacks were the slightly hard and creaky bed and the limited parking options. However, these minor inconveniences didn't significantly impact our enjoyable stay.
