our recent stay in keswick was absolutely delightful, thanks to dale head hall lakeside! the upgraded superior room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view of the lake and gardens. the breakfast menu had a great variety and was delicious. the friendly staff made us feel right at home. we highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

We couldn't have asked for a better location for our stay in the Lake District. The views from our room were absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful gardens and a serene lake right outside. The hotel itself was clean, spacious, and had a touch of charm that added to our overall experience. The four-poster bed in our room was a luxurious treat. Despite the chef being unwell during our visit, the helpful staff recommended a lovely pub just a short walk away where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Breakfast overlooking the lake was a highlight, with a variety of options to choose from. Our expectations were exceeded, especially considering the reasonable price we paid. we had a wonderful experience and will definitely return to this hidden gem of a hotel in the future.

We recently stayed at a charming hotel in the Lake District, close to scenic places and the beautiful river bank. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely view of the gardens. Spent New Year at a beautiful hotel by a lake. Great value wine list, loved the views of the mountains and lake. Location was perfect for accessing attractions in Keswick and Ambleside. Room was well equipped and clean.

During our Christmas stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view of the reservoir from our room. It was a peaceful and serene sight that added to the overall charm of our experience. the staff and owners were very pleasant, making us feel welcome and at home. the cozy and warm rooms provided a comfortable space for relaxation, and we appreciated having lots of hot water for a luxurious bath.

There were a few aspects that needed improvement. the decor seemed a bit tired, and the room and breakfast were quite basic considering the high charges.
