My stay at Dalhousie Castle was absolutely amazing. The castle itself is stunning, with beautiful themed furnishings that really add to the charm. The staff were incredibly helpful and made my stay even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, especially the scallop starter in the dungeon restaurant - it was truly mind-blowing. The castle suite I stayed in, located in the dungeon area, was such a unique experience. Having my own well in the room and being so close to the castle walls was unforgettable. The library bar was also a favorite of mine, with its wide selection of whiskeys and comfortable chesterfield sofas. The location was perfect for exploring the areas I wanted to visit, and it was hard to believe that I was only 11 miles away from Edinburgh. my stay at Dalhousie Castle exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it.

Drawbacks: The only downside was that the room was small and not as clean as I would have liked. However, the overall experience made up for it.

The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, and I particularly enjoyed dining in the Dungeon restaurant in the evening. The staff, especially the front-of-house team, were friendly and accommodating. I also appreciated being able to make use of the spa facilities and booking some great treatments. The bagpipes playing by an old timer, who also shared interesting stories about the castle's history, added a special touch to the overall experience.
