I had such a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel in Cumbria! The location was perfect, nestled in a charming village and surrounded by beautiful gardens. I loved being able to explore the local area and take in the peaceful atmosphere.

We loved the location, with beautiful gardens and easy access to a great pub down the road where we had an excellent dinner. The room was lovely and very clean, with a super bathroom and great additional touches. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were helpful, courteous and very friendly.

The location was perfect, situated near Dalston village, and we were able to enjoy a lovely walk to a great pub down the road where we had an excellent dinner. The hotel itself is like a castle, with a tower that adds a unique touch. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, and we were greeted with a welcome drink upon arrival. The room amenities were impressive, with heating, tea and coffee facilities, and a flat-screen TV. We also loved the dining bar/lounge area, where the staff was always on hand to assist us. The leisure facilities, including the sun terrace and garden area, were well-maintained and provided a peaceful atmosphere. The free Wi-Fi and on-site car park were convenient additions to our stay.

We would highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Furthermore, the hotel's location was convenient, as it was close to the Carlisle racecourse and within reach of the town center. We were even able to leave a concert early due to the hotel's proximity.

There was also a lovely village just down the road, Dalston, and it was only a short drive to Carlisle. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and would love to visit again.

That the hotel did not offer any food options, despite a sign at the entrance suggesting otherwise. However, this did not affect my overall experience and I would still highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

That the guest facilities downstairs were underwhelming. the bar area felt dark and dingy, and the tablecloths were rather depressing.

Wow, what a beautiful and stunning hotel! Nestled in the beautiful countryside, Dalston Hall exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, with a special shout out to Sabrina who was simply brilliant. The breakfast was excellent, and I must say, the bacon was some of the best I've ever had. Plus, the room had a jacuzzi and a bed so big it made my whole room at home look tiny.

The junior suite was spacious and good value for money. The dinner menu had a limited selection but was delicious. The wine selection was impressive. The staff, especially the young man, provided exceptional customer service.
