stayed here before in Totnes, but Dartington Hall B&B exceeded my expectations! Upgraded to deluxe room, comfy bed. Lovely surroundings, close to town. Excellent breakfast included. Bonus: on-site cinema at Dartington Hall.

Poor signage, hard to park.

We stayed at a charming hotel with a great location, close enough to the coast for a day trip. The room we booked was spacious and comfortable, with a modern bathroom just a few steps away. The staff were kind and helpful, and the breakfast provided was delicious. We also enjoyed the on-site facilities, such as the cinema and the nearby Cider Press shops. The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful gardens.

The service at the restaurant was below par, with a lack of attentiveness and a disappointing attitude from the staff.

The restaurant/bar at this hotel offers a cozy atmosphere with a well-stocked bar and plush seating, perfect for relaxing by the fire. The location is also a major advantage, nestled in the glorious grounds which are beautifully maintained, providing a tranquil and picturesque setting. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean, with all the necessary amenities and a lovely view overlooking the gardens.

The cleanliness of certain areas could be improved.

Set amidst a magnificent estate with extensive grounds, the historical stone buildings offer a really peaceful and restful haven. the food is extremely good and the rooms are bright, clean and comfortable.

Although the staff were helpful, it was extremely busy and there was a lot of waiting for things. the checking-in process could be more straightforward, and the amenities were lacking.

Value for money was great, and the room was cozy and comfortable. The location was fabulous, with beautiful views of the courtyard and peaceful surroundings. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

The breakfast menu could have had more variety.

I had an amazing stay at this 4-star hotel! The location was perfect, with the arch to the courtyard just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The housekeeping was excellent, keeping the room spotless and providing all the necessary amenities like ironing facilities and a well-stocked tea and coffee area. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi in the rooms, allowing me to stay connected during my visit. The hotel's garden area was a peaceful oasis, with comfortable garden furniture to relax and enjoy the lovely atmosphere. everything was of the highest quality, from the welcoming drink upon arrival to the impeccable service throughout my stay.

I would highly recommend this hotel to families as well. There is a children's play area, a children's menu, and cots available upon request.

As foreign tourists, we enjoyed the unique character of the hotel and the friendly, helpful staff. The onsite pub served delicious, reasonably priced food, and the location in the medieval courtyard was picturesque. We also appreciated the buffet breakfasts and the opportunity to explore the impressive Great Hall.

Felt right at home here, with nothing to complain about.

Fabulous setting in a country estate with historical buildings and designed gardens. Excellent food at the restaurant with an interesting menu of local grown food and drinks. Large quadrangle bedrooms with quiet surroundings and beautiful views. Good firm bed for a comfortable sleep. WiFi works well and there is an onsite cinema. Breakfast is generous and offers delicious poached eggs. Staff is attentive and friendly. Beautiful grounds and springtime ambiance. Convenient bus links for those without cars. a wonderful experience at this hidden gem.
