The warm welcome we received upon arrival was fantastic – teas and cakes helped refresh us after a long journey. The breakfasts were hearty and well prepared. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal with Haggis and an excellent Whisky sauce. The rooms, although under review for updating, were comfortable. The owners, Annie and Russell, were extremely helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Davaar House. The hotel, located in a quiet residential area, is a beautiful big stone building. Our bedroom was very spacious with a comfortable big bed. The lounge area was also large and comfortable, perfect for relaxing with a drink. The breakfast was excellent, cooked to order and had a great selection. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us, especially with our 6-month-old twins. We felt like honoured guests and would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is close to the enchanting park donated to the city by Mr Carnegie, offering a peaceful and beautiful setting for a stroll. The rooms are comfortable and come with a very comfy bed, perfect for a good night's sleep. The breakfast served here is outstanding, with possibly the BEST eggs I've ever tasted.

The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a large double bed adorned with soft linens. We enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep due to the quiet atmosphere. The highlight of our stay was the amazing breakfast, featuring ultra-fresh eggs with deep orange yolks and a variety of delicious cooked items. The complimentary bottle of cava was a lovely surprise as well. Davaar House exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be returning on our next visit to the area.
