My recent stay at De Vere exceeded my expectations. The location is picturesque and the breakfast was fantastic. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and everything was clean and in working order. I was impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, especially Gareth, who went out of his way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The hotel grounds are beautiful and it was lovely to see the many dogs around. I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.

The hotel had a stunning lobby and lounge area with comfortable sofas, a large screen TV, and a bar. The lake views from the outside decking and my lake view room were absolutely amazing. The Muddy Duck Café had friendly staff and made a great latte. However, the decor in the bedrooms was average and the facilities were lacking. The carpet in the room didn't match the color scheme and looked worn. There was no bathrobe or additional toiletries, and the outside decking needed treatment. The price didn't match the room facilities.

The windows in the breakfast room were dirty, which spoiled the view outside to the lake.

The staff were courteous and helpful, ensuring that my every need was met. The spa facilities were excellent, and the restaurant staff provided impeccable service. I will definitely return to this hotel in the spring.

My stay at this hotel was all-round amazing. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, and my room had a stunning view of the lake, even though I didn't book a lake view room. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, both at the hotel and at The Boathouse restaurant. The food at The Boathouse was exceptional, with delicious options for my dietary restrictions. The hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, including providing an additional fan in the room to keep my baby cool during the hot weather. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to Cotswold tourist attractions and plenty of options for walking, water sports, and relaxation.

There were a few disappointing aspects of our stay. our twin room was located right next to reception, which meant it was extremely noisy from early in the morning due to foot traffic passing by.

Best aspects were the friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and were always helpful and polite. the location was perfect, with plenty of activities in the area to keep us entertained. the views of the lake were absolutely stunning and added to the overall charm of the place.
