It was the perfect base to explore the lovely quaint town with lots of quirky shops and cafes. the staff were very friendly and welcoming, always on hand to offer suggestions on what to see and do. We particularly enjoyed the hearty breakfast and the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside from the window. the bed linen was spotless and the bed itself was super comfy ensuring a great night's sleep.

There were a few minor issues like the unreliable Wi-Fi signal and the occasional noise from the nearby bar. the bathroom sink plug was a bit of a struggle and not very effective draining.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. the location was fantastic, situated right next to a shallow little river and with a lovely outside seating area. The setting was perfect for enjoying a drink and soaking up the atmosphere. Secondly, the staff were all very good, with exceptional service and attention to detail. Finally, the room itself was clean and comfortable, with fresh crisp bedding and all the basic amenities we needed. The breakfast included was also a great touch, ensuring we started our day off right.

All in all, my stay was really enjoyable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in a charming market town and has a historic feel to it. It's an old coaching inn, which adds to its character. The rooms are well-decorated with high ceilings and plenty of storage space. They are also exceptionally clean, which I appreciated. The bathroom was also well-fitted with a walk-in shower cubicle and plenty of amenities provided such as shower gel, shampoos, and conditioner. The hotel staff were polite and helpful, always going the extra mile to assist me during my stay. I also enjoyed the variety of breakfast options available, providing a satisfying start to my day. Additionally, the hotel's riverside garden area was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink.
