I had an amazing stay at a hidden gem lodge in a beautiful woodland setting. The lodge was so cosy and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The hosts, Ally and Jason, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They had put in a lot of effort to create a great holiday destination, with little touches like fresh flowers and treats. The location was perfect, with plenty to do both inland and at the coast. I especially loved Cullen beach with its stunning rock formations and driftwood. I can't wait to come back.

As old people, we loved the peaceful location in the countryside and the cozy twin beds for a good night's sleep. The immaculate cottage had a new kitchen with modern equipment like an excellent induction hob and microwave. We enjoyed scenic walks along the river bank and found several good places to visit within an easy drive. The host, Ally, was friendly and helpful, and the property was well-organized and extremely well-run.

We felt immediately at home at Sunflower Cottage - nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely lodge in great location for walks and swimming in river. No hot tub but understandable due to eco system. Clean, spacious, and well-equipped cottage. Friendly hosts made us feel welcome. Comfortable beds and cozy wood burner. Can't wait to return.
