cleanliness was top-notch, and the location just outside walking distance on the single track roads was perfect. the hosts gave great local insights, and the breakfast was excellent – couldn't resist the yummy continental offerings and the full Scottish breakfast.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a lovely hotel in Newmacher, where the hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home thanks to their warm hospitality. the breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of choices that catered to all diets. the hosts were lovely people who couldn't do enough for us, making our mornings even more enjoyable with their delicious meals.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The breakfasts were absolutely mind-blowing, with a wide selection of hot scotch pancakes, waffles, and surprise goodies. The hosts were super amazing, offering help with luggage and treating our dogs like their own. Room 1 was perfect, with a luxurious bath for some much-needed relaxation. The lounge and fireplace looked jaw-droppingly comfy, can't wait to explore more next time. The whole experience was outstanding value for money in a peaceful and historic setting. The hosts' attention to detail and customer care made us feel at home.

I stuffed myself with a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast while enjoying the free WiFi. The garden was lovely, but I couldn't find any laundry facilities to clean my extravagant wardrobe!

Sadly, there were no fire-breathing dragons in the lobby. How disappointing!

The decorations in the common areas were charming and cozy, reminding me of my grandmother's home. the comfortable seating allowed for plenty of relaxation, and the easy access to amenities made it perfect for seniors like myself to move around independently.

Lovely bath for relaxation. Warm and cozy family area with games and an honesty bar. Beautiful antiques creating a homely feel. Extensive gardens with a trampoline and swing for kids.

Had an enjoyable New Year stay at a rustic and beautifully decorated B&B. Our spacious en-suite room had a lovely roll-top bath and comfy beds. The cooked breakfast was scrumptious and included a selection of fresh fruits and juices. The location was secluded and serene with peaceful surroundings, which made it an ideal place for a relaxing getaway. We were also impressed with the friendly and accommodating hosts who made us feel welcome throughout the stay.

The driveway leading up to the B&B was a bit difficult to navigate, particularly in bad weather. Additionally, the remote location meant that we had to drive quite a bit to get to nearby attractions and restaurants.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hidden gem. Chris and Karolyn's warm hospitality made us feel right at home. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with open arms, a cozy fire, and a beautifully decorated house. Our family suite was perfect for the three of us, and every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of. the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfasts. Chris cooked us a delicious warm meal, along with a variety of cold meats, cheeses, tomatoes, granola, and fresh berries. the spread was accompanied by toast, homemade jams, and butter. We felt pampered and well taken care of throughout our time at Disblair House and will definitely be back if time allows. It is by far our favorite place to stay in Scotland.

The hotel's location is fantastic, offering a peaceful rural setting while still being close to Aberdeen. You'll feel like you're staying in a luxurious country retreat. The rooms are beautifully decorated with attention to detail, and the four-poster bed adds a touch of elegance. The breakfasts are exceptional, with a wide range of options, including vegetarian sausages. It's evident that they use high-quality ingredients, and everything is cooked to order.

The entry road could be improved, but it adds to the hotel's charm.
