Absolutely mind-blowing staff, comfy bed, massive room with flat-screen TV, and awesome snacks and drinks. Staff provided earplugs for a peaceful night. Central location close to the station. GREAT communication and helpful housekeeping team. Lots of nice little touches and goodies provided. Easy parking and clean room. Super experience! .

Had a cozy stay in the center, beautiful room decor with a LOVELY rain shower. Breakfast was amazing at the Coffee Lab. Staff were super welcoming. Would come again! Photos don't do justice to the room.

Chose this hotel for a work event. Perfect place to wind down after a busy day, specials on chalk boards added a nice touch. Cons: Missed having a reliable Wi-Fi connection for work tasks.

The home-made pies and jams at the nearby dining spots like Rose Cafe are next level! Not to mention, the room was quirky and clean, and the bed was a cozy nest.

Now, the room in the attic was as hot as a jalapeño and the sloping roof was a head-bumping surprise. even with wonky blinders, stained carpets, and noisy tinkles at 5am, the place still had that Hertford charm.

The kids loved the spacious family-friendly room and the variety of complimentary snacks provided. the location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants nearby for our large family to enjoy a delicious meal together.

My wife says that a playground or outdoor play area on the premises would have been a great addition for families like ours.

i had a wonderful stay at dog and whistle pub. the friendly host guided me to my room, where i found a comfy bed, a spacious bathroom, and a delightful selection of tea, coffee, and snacks. the central location made it convenient to explore, and i loved the great shower pressure and large bath for my arthritis. the attention to detail and care from the owners were evident in the beautiful room decor and amenities provided.

I appreciated the friendly staff who were always willing to help. the complimentary snacks in the room were a nice gesture, and the old building had plenty of character. the live entertainment and garden area provided a relaxing atmosphere, though the nightclub atmosphere may not suit all guests.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, I felt as connected as a teenager glued to their phone. The cozy room felt like a warm hug from a loving grandma, complete with quality hot chocolate sachets that made me feel like a pampered child on Christmas morning. Cons: No elevator available.
