Our stay at Dolphin House was absolutely delightful! The charming Georgian house with its well-maintained garden created a beautiful atmosphere. Our room on the ground floor was not only spacious, but also incredibly comfortable. We felt right at home thanks to the warm and helpful hosts, who provided us with great advice and recommendations for local amenities and dining options. The continental breakfast served in the Orangery was a highlight, especially with the stunning view of the garden. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to regular buses into the city center of Bath. we had a wonderful experience at Dolphin House and highly recommend it.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, better than our own at home. The room was spacious and well-designed, with blackout shutters for a peaceful night's sleep. The hosts, George and Jane, were lovely and the breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the garden was delightful. Batheaston is a charming village and a short drive from Bath. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The Solsbury Hill walk offered stunning views. Ample continental breakfast options, including fresh fruit, cereal, toast, and croissants. Excellent coffee.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The 17th century bedroom had a cozy and interesting decor, and I loved the separate sitting room in our room. The hotel facilities were great, including the beautiful garden and the excellent continental breakfast served in the orangery. The location by the river was perfect, I enjoyed walking along the River Avon and exploring the nearby restaurants. The staff, especially Jane, were sweet and informative, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Although the room was generally clean, there were a few areas that could have been tidier, such as dust and cobwebs. The rugs also seemed dirty and there were even some finger nail clippings on them.

Sadly, the WiFi coverage in the room was quite poor, forcing us to sit in the entrance hall area to access a weak and slow connection. It would be beneficial for the hotel to install a WiFi range extender.
