Our suite was cozy with a peaceful ambiance. the nearby Saint John the Baptist and the Circus added charm to our family bonding. Despite minor cleanliness issues and noise disruptions, the tranquility of the garden area was a soothing retreat.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, better than our own at home. The room was spacious and well-designed, with blackout shutters for a peaceful night's sleep. The hosts, George and Jane, were lovely and the breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the garden was delightful. Batheaston is a charming village and a short drive from Bath. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The Solsbury Hill walk offered stunning views. Ample continental breakfast options, including fresh fruit, cereal, toast, and croissants. Excellent coffee.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The 17th century bedroom had a cozy and interesting decor, and I loved the separate sitting room in our room. The hotel facilities were great, including the beautiful garden and the excellent continental breakfast served in the orangery.
