I had a relaxing break in a warm cottage with all the modern amenities in an idyllic location. The owner was very helpful and pleasant. Watching the sunrise across the stunning scenery was absolutely fabulous. The cottage was warm and cozy, and the appliances were of good quality. The porthole added a charming touch to the ambiance.

The only minor inconvenience was the poor signal on the TV, but it was fixed on our last day. Additionally, the roads leading to the property were not in great condition, especially the single-track red grit road.

I stayed at Dolphin View Hillockhead for a few nights and had an amazing time. Tim, the host, is incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife and gave us tips on when and where to see dolphins. The location is peaceful and the bed was really comfortable. The property offers excellent opportunities to observe wildlife, and there are books and maps available. a stunning tranquil location with unobtrusive and knowledgeable hosts.

We had the most amazing stay at a perfect location with beautiful sea views! The spacious flat had everything we needed and more, making it a warm and cosy home away from home. Check in/out was a breeze and our host, Tim, was incredibly helpful, even suggesting dolphin viewing spots! Without a doubt, this was the nicest apartment we stayed at during our 3-week tour of Scotland. The surrounding area is also fantastic, with abundant wildlife and a stunning coastline to explore. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.

The location of this place was simply breathtaking! The views were absolutely amazing, and it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the calm scenery. The farmhouse itself was spacious and cozy, with plenty of bathrooms and a lovely kitchen dining room. It was great for a family stay. , the fact that the kitchen was well-equipped and some essentials were provided made our stay even more convenient.

The only small issue we encountered was that the bedroom in the eaves was a bit far from the bathroom. However, this didn't really cause any major problems for us.

Stayed at a beautiful property with fantastic views and plenty of space for our group of 10. The kids had a great time, and we found everything we needed for our few nights away. The dishwasher and tumble dryer/washing machine were a real bonus. The location was stunning and tranquil, with excellent opportunities to observe wildlife. The hosts were knowledgeable and unobtrusive. We even had a chance to spot dolphins from the grounds with a bit of luck! Surrounding villages had good dining options, and there were lovely beaches nearby. a superb location for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

spent a beautiful summer holiday in rosemarkie, and this time dolphin view hillockhead blew us away! the cozy cottage was perfect, with amazing views, pet-friendly, and such a warm and helpful host. a hidden gem for sure!

Shower heat control didn't work well.

I stayed at a charming farmhouse called Dolphin View Hillockhead and had the most amazing experience! The views were absolutely stunning, especially when sitting in the garden overlooking Forte George. The farmhouse was cozy and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. I loved spending evenings by the log fire or enjoying meals in the spacious dining room. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, although a car is definitely recommended. There was plenty of parking space available, and it was a treat to see horses and highland cows in the nearby fields. The host, Tim, was always there when we needed assistance and made sure our stay was enjoyable. I would definitely choose to stay at this property again if I return to the area.
