The Dower House B&B in Newtonmore was a fantastic place to stay. The property had modern decor and was lovely and clean. The hosts, Lynda and Eric, were welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the mains shower was a luxurious touch. The guest room with the log burner made for a cozy atmosphere. The breakfasts were delicious. it was a wonderful experience.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Newtonmore than Dower House. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt like I was visiting family rather than staying at a hotel. The house itself was full of character, with a rich history related to the MacPherson Clan. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the views were stunning. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from. The location was also perfect, quiet and peaceful but still conveniently close to the A9. I had a warm and pleasant stay at Dower House and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I had an incredible stay at Dower House Newtonmore B&B! The hosts went above and beyond when I called to say I would be running late, even offering to have a pot of tea ready for me. The rooms were absolutely amazing, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, particularly the delicious guacamole. I can't thank them enough for the wonderful experience.

Although the sign for the house was small and easily missed, it was a minor inconvenience. Additionally, the lack of a TV was a bit unexpected considering the price paid for the stay.

Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike about our stay! If we had to nitpick, we would say that the towel rail in the bathroom got quite hot and took a bit longer than usual for the bathroom fan to switch off after turning off the light.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at a hidden highland jewel. The Dower House B&B in Scotland was truly stunning. The Calder apartment was stylish, immaculate, and oh so comfortable. Lynda, one of the owners, warmly welcomed us and made us feel like long lost friends. The homemade cooking and daily pastries and muffins were delightful. Eric, the other owner, shared his knowledge about Scotland, adding to our experience. The beautiful countryside surrounding the house was the perfect backdrop for exploring the Highlands. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
