The staff were very welcoming, and one member of the housekeeping staff was particularly helpful when we had an issue. The location of the hotel was excellent, right next to a beautiful ancient church. Our room was clean and presentable, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast using quality fresh produce. The hotel had a nice pub attached with lots of tables to sit outside. The staff were friendly, and it was a nice touch to have Nespresso coffee and bathrobes in the room.

the welcome we received was great, and we were even allowed to check in early. the room was beautifully decorated, well-furnished, and exceptionally clean. We had all the amenities we needed including a kettle, coffee machine, and ironing facilities. Despite being located at the front of the hotel next to the road, the room was surprisingly quiet. the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of hot food options, and the staff were friendly and helpful. it was a perfect base for exploring the area.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even heating up bottles for our children. The hotel had a lovely nature walk starting from the car park, which the kids really enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of tasty options. As young holiday goers, we loved the friendly and efficient reception staff who made us feel welcome. The spacious superior double room had great views and a cozy window seat. The varied menus in the restaurant and brasserie offered plenty of delicious choices. The food was perfectly cooked and presented to perfection. The large car park and convenient location made it easy to explore Pickering, Scarborough, and Filey. The staff at this property were hardworking, professional, and friendly, making our stay enjoyable and comfortable.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. The breakfasts were delicious and the menu in the bar/restaurant was excellent. The location provided great views and opportunities for walks.

The historical building was simply beautiful with a stunning exterior that caught our eyes as soon as we approached. We loved the helpful and friendly staff, who always went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Our room was conveniently located near the car park with a side door, which meant we didn't have to walk through the bar or restaurant every time we went out.

One downside to our stay was the noisy floorboards from the room above ours, which we could hear every movement from and the television played louder than ours! the room we stayed in was small with limited storage space, but that's what happens in a historical building.
