The bad weather foiled our plans to enjoy the scenic surroundings in Tamar Valley near Dartmoor National Park. Would've been a sweet spot with some sunshine and blue skies, but can't control the elements, right?

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's close proximity to Transportation, being near both the station and ideal for exploring Devon & Cornwall. the breakfast provided was superb, offering a wide selection and excellent service from the friendly Staff. the spacious and clean room provided a comfortable stay, with amenities exceeding expectations.

We had a lovely stay at this bed and breakfast. the host, Pat, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. She prepared an excellent breakfast for us, even at an early hour because we had a canoe trip booked. Pat also provided us with detailed information on local restaurants and gave us directions, which we greatly appreciated. the bed was very comfortable, guaranteeing us a good night's sleep. Along with the superb breakfast, the extra orange juice and fresh coffee were a nice touch. Pat was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made our stay memorable. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

We had a great selection of amenities including a nice television and a hot shower in the morning. the highlight of our stay, however, was the superb breakfast. the hostess was really friendly and helpful, and she made sure we had plenty of delicious food to start our day. Mind-blowing breakfast with unlimited orange juice, extra fresh coffee, and a five-star hotel-worthy cooked breakfast. Super friendly and helpful hosts who made us feel like VIPs. Jaw-droppingly spacious and well-equipped room with a hot shower. Wow-inducing directions and on-site car park. The location couldn't be better, surrounded by stunning scenery and within walking distance of awesome pubs and restaurants. Incredible value for money!

there was no ensuite bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient. my sister had trouble connecting to the wifi in her room.
