Very Friendly hotel in an excellent pub

I'm a big fan of real ale, so when I found out that The Duke had 3 St Austell beers on handpump, I was thrilled. The restaurant exceeded my expectations with its great value for money and generous portions. The breakfasts, including fresh fruit, were delicious and satisfying. What's even better is that all of this comes at the incredibly affordable price of £35 per night. The friendly and welcoming staff made me feel secure and comfortable throughout my stay. The only minor drawback is that the location is a mile away from town and transportation options are limited. However, the local taxi service came in handy. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent pub, friendly atmosphere, and great value for money.

We stayed at The Duke Of Cornwall for a wedding and it was perfect. The super king size room was huge and had no problems. The staff, especially the main lady who keeps the property and the lady serving breakfast, were super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to heat up our take away, even the one that needed 30 minutes in the oven. The location is very central, just a mile away from Charlestown harbour.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel and would definitely come back to Cornwall. The staff deserves special recognition for their care and helpfulness, especially when I fell ill. They took great care of my partner and granddaughter while my daughter accompanied me to the hospital. The level of care provided was exceptional and I am truly grateful for their support.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. We also appreciated the convenient location, as it was just a short drive to the Eden project. We got excellent value for our money at The Duke Of Cornwall. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. The location was perfect for us, just outside the town, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
