We were pleasantly surprised by this place. The location couldn't have been better, right in the city centre within walking distance of the train station. The building itself was really interesting, with lots of big social spaces and facilities. The staff were great, answering all our questions and even finding a place for our bikes. The room exceeded our expectations, with a really nice en-suite bathroom and plenty of space. We were impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the beds. The free coffee was a nice touch, helping us save time in the morning.

We would highly recommend this hotel to families.

I recently stayed at Dundee Backpackers and was impressed by the size of the building and its character. The chill atmosphere created a comfortable and relaxing environment. I also appreciated the free tea and coffee, as well as the availability of showers. The bunks were comfy with winter sheets and duvets, providing a cozy night's sleep. The communal areas were clean and the central heating kept the whole building warm. The historical information about the building was a nice touch. The proximity to everything in town was convenient, and I felt secure with the provided security measures. The wifi was reliable, allowing me to stay connected. the value for money was excellent.

There were a few minor drawbacks during my stay. The room had a slight musty smell due to being sealed.

As youngsters, we loved the easy, quick check-in process with the receptionist who was super nice. The fairy lights on the trees outside gave the hostel a lovely and cozy atmosphere. The quirky building added charm to our stay. Our room, number 16, was spacious, and it even had a sofa in it. The staff member at the reception during our last evening and check-out was excellent in every way.

I had a pleasant stay in this hostel, which was conveniently located right in the middle of the bustling high street. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was well-maintained, clean, and secure. I was pleased to see other groups of people sitting in the communal areas, socializing and enjoying their time. Considering the reasonable price, it was definitely a good value for money.

The noise from the streets outside could be a bit bothersome at night.

The kitchen facilities were not up to standard. The knives were dull and the overall cleanliness of the kitchen left much to be desired.

It's convenient for buses and the railway station, so getting around is a breeze. Additionally, there is a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of fridge storage space, making it easy to prepare meals.

The hostel lacks night security staff, which can be a concern for safety and noise disturbances during the night.

I had a great value for my money at Dundee Backpackers. The twin room I stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and had a nice view of Caird Hall. The location was perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the train and bus stations, and close to all the shops. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with things like wake-up calls and printing documents.

The room we booked exceeded our expectations, it was more spacious than what we had imagined. the location was very convenient, we had everything we needed very close by. the fact that our room had a sink was very helpful for us to prepare drinks.

We didn't find the accommodation very romantic as there were too many people around at all times. the facilities were a bit outdated and showed wear and tear.
