We had a great stay at this place. The location was convenient, with the university campus just a 5-minute walk away and downtown easily accessible by bus or a 20-minute walk. There were plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby for our evening meals. The hosts, Tony and Mary, were incredibly nice and helpful. They made sure we had a room ready despite some reservation issues, and even recommended a great place for dinner. We felt very welcome here. The room was nicely furnished and always clean, with a lovely view of a small garden from our window. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with a wide selection to choose from.

The breakfast cost an extra £6, which we thought should have been included. However, overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Dragging our suitcases up several flights of stairs was a bit challenging, especially since we had a lot of luggage. Also, it would have been nice to have a double bed instead of a twin.
