I recently stayed at Durham Ox for a weekend getaway and had an incredible experience. The room exceeded my expectations and the bed was so comfortable. The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I especially loved the self-service continental breakfast, although I missed the traditional cooked breakfast. The breakfast options were great, with a variety of choices to suit everyone's preferences. Peter, the host, was fantastic and made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to Durham Ox in the future!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The warm welcome from the staff made me feel right at home. The room was clean and cosy, with all the tea and coffee I needed readily available. The hotel's facilities were excellent, especially the restaurant where I had a delicious meal. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel's central location in the centre of town was very convenient, with parking available for guests.

We had a fantastic stay at the Durham Ox in Ilkeston. Peter, one of the owners, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was beautifully decorated and cozy. The staff were lovely and created a great atmosphere. They were always helpful, whether it was arranging a taxi for us or stoking the fire to keep us warm. The bar/restaurant was also very inviting, with a delightful coal fire and festive decorations. While we didn't eat there, the restaurant seemed busy and bustling with activity, which is always a good sign.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely hotel in Ilkeston. The staff at Durham Ox were incredibly attentive and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The room I stayed in was clean, homely, and had a lovely en suite shower. The highlight of my stay, however, was the amazing food served in the evening. The restaurant is so popular that guests have to reserve a table weeks in advance! a wonderful experience.

What a fabulous little hotel, perfect for visiting friends in Ilkeston. The room was well presented and beautifully decorated, with a high level of cleanliness. The comfortable bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The menu had a good range of options and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning to this quiet and quaint hotel.

I had a warm welcome at Durham Ox Ilkeston and was impressed with the cleanliness of my room. The large bathroom was a definite plus. The food during my stay was excellent and the staff were polite and accommodating. I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

The lighting in my room was a bit inadequate, especially in one area that was quite dark. However, when I brought this up to the staff, they responded immediately and showed great concern.

The location of the hotel is exceptional, right in the heart of town. It offers easy access to local attractions and amenities. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. There is also a restaurant on-site, offering delicious meals at reasonable prices. the hotel provides great value for money and we would definitely stay here again.

One minor drawback is the limited parking available, which could be a slight inconvenience for guests with cars.
