We had a fantastic stay at the bed & breakfast overlooking the river. The room was comfortable with stunning views. Steve's breakfasts were spectacular, made with fresh, locally sourced produce. Lorna was incredibly kind and helpful. Lynmouth and Lynton were lovely places to explore. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend East Lyn House B&B.

We had a fantastic stay at East Lyn House in Lynmouth. Richard and Hannah were incredibly welcoming and attentive to our needs. The location of the property was perfect, with our room overlooking the river and the beautiful wildlife outside. The room itself was comfortable and it was a lovely touch to have fresh milk provided every morning for our tea. The breakfast was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again when in the area.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was excellent, with an easy stroll into the village centre and a great view of the village and the harbour from my room. The food was delicious and there was plenty of choice, especially with the full English breakfast and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The room was of a good size and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The amenities provided, such as ironing facilities and tea and coffee facilities, were a nice touch. The staff were friendly and the service was top-notch. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus. this place exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it.

The parking was good and it was a relief to have a parking space available.

I am a light sleeper, and I must say that I had a wonderful experience at this B&B. The rooms were comfortable and provided a peaceful night's sleep.

It was a wonderful experience to stay in such an authentic Victoria property, with the added bonus of being able to explore the surrounding woods. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in a stunning spot with gorgeous views of the river. It is right on the river Lyn and within a 5-minute walk of the harbour and the famous lift to the village of Linton. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast is delicious, with plenty of options to choose from.

Parking can be limited and tight, but this is more of a location issue in the area.

The views were simply breathtaking and the breakfast was top-notch. Plus, the hotel was a stone's throw away from the town center and beach, making it the perfect location for exploring the area. the staff were very warm and welcoming, and made us feel at home during our Christmas stay.

We did experience some issues with storing our luggage. We had a late flight out and asked about the possibility of leaving our bags for a few hours, but we were told that it wasn't possible.

The hosts were incredibly helpful, recommending places to eat and providing us with useful walking maps. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the beautiful scenery was a perfect way to start the day. The complimentary daily milk and freshly baked Victoria sponge cake in our room were thoughtful touches. The facilities in the room were excellent and we enjoyed the stunning view of the village and harbor. Having a free parking space was also a plus. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, overall I highly recommend this hotel for a short and relaxing break.
