We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious double room on the first floor with its stunning sea view and balcony. The king-sized bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the quality linen made for a luxurious night's sleep. The attention to detail was evident, with an iPod dock and welcome cupcakes awaiting our arrival. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, offering a variety of cooked options including smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, as well as a delicious full English and vegetarian choices. The selection of cereals, yoghurts, and fresh fruit was also impressive. Throughout our stay, David, the friendly and helpful host, made us feel truly valued. We also appreciated the convenient location of Ebor Lodge, within walking distance of the pier, shopping areas, and a plethora of restaurants and pubs. While the decor maintained a slight 1980s vibe, it did not diminish the overall comfort and exceptional service we experienced. we highly recommend this well-run and comfortable guest house.

The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is very close to the town center and just opposite the iconic Redoubt fortress. Being able to sit outside across from the beach is wonderful, providing a picturesque view. The rooms are well-appointed, clean, and comfortable, with en suite bathrooms and complimentary shower amenities. The hosts are welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast options are plentiful and delicious, catering to dietary needs. there is free parking nearby.

There is not much to dislike about this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located just opposite the Redoubt fortress, offering a great view of Eastbourne's miles of coastline. The rooms are comfortable, well-equipped, and spotless, with spacious shower rooms. The hosts go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay, providing helpful assistance when needed. The breakfast offers a nice selection and is well-cooked. The accommodation is always warm and welcoming, perfect for returning to after a day out in the sea air.

Some rooms may have a slightly sloped bed, but it doesn't take away from the overall comfort of the stay.

The location was perfect, as it was close to the beach and within walking distance of the city centre. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing useful information about the local area. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a variety of options including a delicious full cooked breakfast and salmon with scrambled eggs.

The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the decoration was beautiful. The owners have paid great attention to detail, providing all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including tea, coffee, and toiletries. The location is perfect, right on the seafront with easy access to the coastline. The breakfast served was delicious and well-presented, with a good continental selection. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The location on the seafront provided breathtaking views, especially from the rooms with seaview. And to top it all off, the breakfast included in the stay was simply amazing, with a wide range of options to choose from.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I really liked the warm and cozy atmosphere. the hotel's central location was a major advantage, as it allowed me to easily explore the nearby attractions and enjoy the festive ambiance of the city.

The options were limited and didn't cater to different dietary needs. the heating system in the room was inadequate, leaving me feeling cold at night.

Travelling alone, I felt welcomed and at ease. The friendly staff, comfortable room with a sea view, and convenient amenities like a fridge and fan made my stay enjoyable. The WiFi and TV worked well, and the spacious bathroom with a great shower and daily replenished care products were a nice touch. The beautiful decor created a cozy atmosphere, and the owners' attention to detail, such as providing towels for wet dog paws, showed their thoughtfulness. The location was convenient, within walking distance to the town center and pier, with parking available nearby. But the highlight was undoubtedly the delicious and high-quality breakfast, the best I had during my entire trip.
