I could rave about the Sicilian feast they serve for breakfast at Elibank House B&B until the cows come home! Fresh produce and local ingredients that would make Nonna proud. the hosts are angels in disguise, going above and beyond to cater to all needs. It's a haven for peaceful walks and scenic views—the River Tweed is a stone's throw away.

If I had to nitpick, the minor road from Walkerburn might give city slickers a little thrill, but fear not—it's a smooth ride to paradise in the end.

The breakfasts were lovely and a great treat. The interior of the house looked fantastic, and we enjoyed looking out of the breakfast room into the beautiful garden with all the birds. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, and the bedrooms were comfortable and very clean.

The minor road initially fazed me, but it was in pretty good condition. I wish I could have stayed longer to really spend time in the beautiful house and gardens.

I recently stayed at Elibank House B&B for a few days and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by rolling countryside and magical woodland walks. The owner Rosemary has done an incredible job with the tasteful renovation of this large country house. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you could need. The breakfast, personally cooked by Rosemary, is delicious and served overlooking the gardens where you can spot pheasants and birds enjoying their own breakfast. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. There are also plenty of activities nearby, such as visiting Sir Walter Scott's magical home Abbotsford and Melrose Abbey. this elegant establishment in a peaceful, rural setting is truly a hidden gem.
