The value for money at Ellesmere House was excellent, with beautiful rooms and a lovely garden. The location was convenient and the owners, Melanie and Martin, were incredibly welcoming and helpful.

More breakfast choices would have made the morning meal even better. The homemade fruit compotes and granola were delicious, but a wider variety of options would be great.

Lovely home from home for solo work trips. Owners helpful, even with car trouble. Dogs and relaxed atmosphere. Convenient location near the Haynes Museum. Clean and comfortable room with TV and tea/coffee. Spacious bathroom with clean towels and toiletries. Fabulous breakfast with plenty of food, homemade granola was a highlight. Charming hosts who couldn't do enough. Definitely would return.

As young families, we absolutely loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere at this charming bed and breakfast. Melanie and Martin were incredibly attentive and made sure that all of our needs were met. The cottage-like feel and thoughtful touches throughout, like the lovely oils in the bathroom and cozy blankets, made us feel right at home. The breakfast was simply delicious, with homemade and fresh dishes that showcased Martin's culinary skills. We also appreciated the communal table, which gave us the opportunity to connect with other guests, including fellow Celts from Scotland and Ireland. a delightful stay that we highly recommend.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, offering to carry our bags and giving us tips on places to visit. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Another advantage was the delicious breakfast, with lots of homemade goodies to choose from.

The rooms were a bit small and cramped, making it difficult to move around freely. The lack of amenities in the room was also disappointing, as we had to ask for extra towels and toiletries.

I recently stayed at Ellesmere House for a wedding, and it was a fantastic experience. The hosts, Melanie and Martin, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room had a beautiful view of the garden and Lodge Hill, and everything was spotlessly clean. The attention to detail was exceptional, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had. The homemade compots and jams, along with the fresh fruit and delicious scrambled eggs, were a highlight. I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely B&B.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely hotel in a quiet part of town. It was clean and had great facilities. The hotel also had parking available and was located in the lovely market town of Castle Cary. It was less than a 10-minute walk to town and the local post office. The hotel also had a large garden where I could relax. The breakfast provided was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

It turned out to be a wonderful surprise! the Victorian town house is absolutely beautiful, filled with charm and stunning views of the rolling hills. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. In the morning, Melanie and Martin offered a delightful spread of cereals, yogurt, and granola. They also provided options for cooked breakfasts, including toast, eggs, and bacon.
