I had a fantastic stay at Ellie's - the location was perfect, just a short walk from the Pavilion where I was attending an event. Parking was hassle-free with a permit provided by the guest house. My top floor room had a partial view of the sea and was well-planned with plenty of storage. the en-suite had a bath and separate shower. Martin, the host, was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. the breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared and cooked to order. I would definitely consider staying at Ellie's again in the future.

The house had a warm and cozy atmosphere, and our room was clean and well-equipped. The basket of pampering goodies was a nice touch. Martyn knew us by name and took the time to chat with us. We had a truly wonderful weekend and will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Spent Easter at a charming hotel with a perfect location, just a few steps from the beach and within walking distance to all the attractions. Our room was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed, including toiletries and coffee facilities. the breakfast was excellent, with a variety of freshly prepared options and perfect portions to start the day. the hosts were very welcoming and always happy to help, making us feel at home from the very beginning.

Everything exceeded our expectations, and we had an amazing Easter break at this hotel.

Located on the scenic West Cliff, this guest house offers a peaceful retreat away from the bustling Whitby centre. The rooms are spacious with plenty of natural light, providing a comfortable stay. The bathroom is well-maintained and spacious, offering convenience and comfort. The hosts provide excellent service, going above and beyond to cater to the needs of guests, especially families with young children. The breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of options, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. there is ample parking available on the street around the West Cliff area.

We had a wonderful stay at a fabulous B&B run by welcoming hosts. the accommodation was clean, well-presented, and finished to a high standard. Our rooms, including a deluxe family room and a normal double, were lovely with comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like toiletries and refreshments in the room. the location was convenient, with beautiful views and easy access to the town and attractions. the full English breakfast served in the light dining room was exceptional. we highly recommend this guest house.

We had a delightful stay at Ellie's Guest House in Whitby. Martyn and Paula, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming and friendly. the family room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was perfect for us and our 6-year-old granddaughter. the bathroom was generous and came with quality toiletries. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee in the bay window, where we could relax and take in the surroundings. the location of the guest house was excellent, with the town center and all amenities just a short walk away. the proximity to the beach, outdoor paddling pool, crazy golf, trampolines, and the leisure center was a bonus. the highlight for our granddaughter was Millie, Martyn and Paula's adorable little pet dog. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices including cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cooked options. We would highly recommend Ellie's Guest House and definitely book here again if we return to Whitby.
