As soon as we walked in, the large entrance hall made us feel right at home. The decor is top-notch, with a high standard throughout. The two bedrooms, one with an ensuite, were perfect for our needs. And the free-standing bath by the window was a unique and luxurious touch. The separate bathroom with a walk-in shower was also lovely. The fully fitted kitchen had everything we needed, including a nice coffee machine. The welcome pack, complete with wine, crisps, milk, and beer, was a much-appreciated gesture after our journey. The 15-minute walk to the centre was pleasant, as we got to enjoy the proximity to the sea. And when we didn't feel like walking, the £6 taxi ride back was a convenient option. Parking was a breeze with the provided scratch cards. The Met Hotel on the corner added charm, especially when we sat outside, enjoying the sunshine and a G&T with a view of the sea. Alan, our host, was incredibly helpful, offering suggestions for dining and drinking. We loved it so much that we even extended our stay for an extra night. Three nights in total - a perfect getaway.

There were some issues with the hot water tank, resulting in limited hot water for showers and baths.

I recently stayed at Elysium Suite in Whitby for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, right opposite the beautiful West Cliff Beach. The apartment itself was lovely, clean, and modern, with a lot of thought put into the decoration and design. The beds were very comfortable and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided complimentary coffee and other amenities, which was a nice touch. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

That the bedroom got quite hot during the day due to the sun. It would have been helpful to have a fan for better sleep.
