As a disabled guest, I appreciated the accessible facilities and amenities at this beautiful property. The staff were welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was special. The food was delicious and the rooms were well-appointed with luxurious touches like thick towels and soft bathmats. The tranquil river and lovely gardens added to the magical atmosphere of the hotel.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel for a weekend getaway. The location of this place is absolutely perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled in a beautiful garden/parkland setting, the grounds are simply superb. We enjoyed leisurely strolls down to the river and through the enchanting rose tunnel, which must be absolutely breathtaking in the summer. The rooms were incredibly quiet and the beds were very comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. We loved the beautifully furnished public rooms, which were spacious and comfortable. If the weather permits, there are also tables on the terrace where you can enjoy outdoor dining.

We absolutely loved the enchanting walks through the trees, stream, and waterfalls. The stretch of the river Tamar was stunning! The country house experience was truly charming with log fires and delightful sitting areas. The fine ornaments and art, including the wooden carving of a dog, added to the unique atmosphere. The tranquil bedrooms ensured a restful stay, and the grounds were superb with a lovely garden/parkland setting. The location was perfect for us young holiday goers, as we wanted to get away from the Rat Race.

We felt super comfortable during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond to be helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Over Easter, I had the pleasure of staying at a charming countryside hotel. the grounds were beautiful, with lovely gardens to wander through and take in the fresh air. the afternoon tea was delightful, with excellent options for those with dietary restrictions. the staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of nearby attractions to visit.

Although the hotel had some great aspects, there were some negatives to mention. the rooms were a bit dated, with worn-out amenities and some areas in need of a little maintenance.

The peaceful ambiance and dog-friendly rooms were a delightful touch. During my visit, I stayed in Suite 1, which had a spacious bathroom and a separate lounge area. The suite provided a serene and secluded experience. Although the hotel shows signs of age, the main lounges, bar area, and restaurant are still in good shape. Afternoon tea was a true delight, adding to the overall wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming country house hotel. The location is simply breathtaking, with stunning walks through the rose tunnel and down to the river. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished, with a luxurious bathroom and picturesque views. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel also offers beautiful grounds and a range of facilities for guests to enjoy.

We did notice a slight cobweb in one of the dining areas, which could have been easily overlooked during cleaning.
