As a traveler, I loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the place. Sheila, the landlady, was incredibly friendly and ensured our comfort throughout our stay. The homemade Sunday roast and delicious breakfast were definite highlights. The bed in the poppy room was even more comfortable than my own new mattress at home. The attention to detail, like the teapot kettle decorated with poppies, added a charming touch to our stay. The manager went above and beyond, providing exceptional hospitality by offering early breakfasts and a lift to the start line of the race. This kind of genuine care is hard to find nowadays.

Englands Rose has comfortable and clean bedrooms, delicious meals, and a well-appointed dining room. the friendly atmosphere created by Sheila, the landlady, made me feel right at home. the location is convenient, with easy access to major roads and attractions. the highlight for me was watching the red kites in the beautiful garden. I would definitely return and highly recommend Englands Rose.
