This hotel is a real gem! the location is ideal, situated on the edge of a charming town with plenty of independent shops to explore. Secondly, the staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable stay. And speaking of comfort, the rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and boast brand new carpets and very comfy beds. Lastly, the breakfast is a delight, with the option to cook your own toast just the way you like it.

We had a fantastic romantic escape at this hotel! We particularly enjoyed the cream gin tea and the delicious breakfast that was included in our package. the location was perfect for us to explore the local area and take relaxing walks. the hotel also offered great value for money and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the room.

That the heating in the common areas could have been better, making the dining and lounge areas a little chilly. However, this did not affect our overall stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel to other couples looking for a romantic getaway.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the value for money was incredible - we couldn't believe what we got for the price we paid. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive, from the brand new carpets in the room to the beautiful view out over the fields, everything was meticulously taken care of. Additionally, the location on the edge of the charming town was perfect, with lots of independent shops to explore.

The lobby/lounge area allowed us to dine with our furry friend, and the hotel grounds were perfect for "walkies". The room was clean, comfortable, and had great WiFi. The location was ideal for exploring Dumfries & Galloway's attractions. I highly recommend this hotel for a dog-friendly stay.
