We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, going out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful garden view. The food at the restaurant was excellent, both for dinner and breakfast. The hotel's location was perfect for us, as it was close to Newcastle and the arena where we attended a concert. Additionally, the breakfast provided a wide variety of options to cater to everyone's taste.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing! They were so friendly and attentive, and really went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We were even upgraded to a larger room, which was such a nice surprise. the breakfast menu was also fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. the main lounge and dining room had a great atmosphere and were beautifully decorated.

The noise coming from outside our window around 1am. It sounded like bins banging and woke us up, though it didn't affect our overall stay.

Not obvious to find.

The room was really comfortable, with a large bath for a nice, relaxing soak. the hotel is tucked away on a quiet side street, which was great for a peaceful stay. the prices for the meals were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service.

The service was a bit lacking, as we had to chase down someone for drinks at the bar. the breakfast order was slightly wrong.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming hotel in Gateshead. The warm welcome and thoughtful touches made our anniversary celebration extra special. The beautifully decorated room, named Beech, had its own unique style and was immaculately clean. The bar staff were attentive and poured our wine with a personal touch. The meal in the restaurant was outstanding, especially the beef brisket. And to top it off, the breakfast, particularly the Eggs Benedict, was delicious. The hotel is also located in a pleasant area close to Saltwell Park.

The room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful, with a four-poster bed and a giant bathtub. It added a touch of romance to our getaway. the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. the breakfast was also a highlight, especially the delicious eggs Benedict.

One downside to our stay was that we had issues with the water temperature in our room. It was consistently tepid and never got hot enough, which was a bit disappointing.
