We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect as it was just a short walk from the Metro station and not far from the beach. The hotel facilities were top-notch and our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast provided was great and the staff, especially the kind landlady, were helpful and friendly.

We stayed at a lodge that was a great starting point for our walk on the Hadrian's Wall Path. The lodge was well run and provided us with a delicious home-cooked breakfast to fuel our day. It was also conveniently located near the Metro railway, making it easy for us to travel to our starting points. We enjoyed a lovely evening seaside walk and had a peaceful night's sleep with no disturbances. Esplanade Lodge provided us with a wonderful experience and added to our holiday memories. 100%.

We had a delightful stay at a lovely lodge in a great location. The room was clean, warm, and the bed was comfortable. The television provided plenty of channels for entertainment. Although the shower was a bit strong, it was hot and the bathroom was adequate. The owner was friendly and made us feel welcome. The breakfast served was excellent and exceeded our expectations.

That finding the key required a phone call, which was a bit inconvenient. there was a dilapidated building nearby that was not aesthetically pleasing.

My stay at the lodge was perfect! The room on the top floor was warm, clean, and had all the essentials. The en-suite, although lacking a door, was still convenient. The landlady was very nice and accommodating, even allowing for flexible check-in. Breakfast was delicious and the other guests were friendly. The location was convenient for my event in Whitley Bay and the Dove Marine Centre. a pleasant stay at a decent price.

Our stay at Esplanade Lodge was fantastic! The location was excellent, with easy access to the metro for a trip to Newcastle and just a short walk to the beach. The room was spotlessly clean, with pristine white bed clothes and towels. The host, Clyde, was very helpful and even provided an iron and board upon request. We also enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast each morning. we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay at Esplanade Lodge. I highly recommend it.
