Upgraded to a large room with beautiful view. Friendly and helpful staff. Old Scottish charm, cozy and quiet. Included breakfast had plenty of choices. Great food and service in the restaurant. Perfect location near Oban and Connel bridge. Highly recommend.

The location of the hotel is superb, with a beautiful garden that extends down to the loch, allowing guests to enjoy the stunning view of the falls and the shore. The room we stayed in was lovely, well-appointed, and had a comfortable bed. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay, and the breakfast options were delicious. We also had the opportunity to try out the jacuzzi bath, which was a nice addition. a memorable visit with great room and amenities.

The bistro, although busy, had a slightly cafeish atmosphere.

We recently stayed at the Falls Of Lora Hotel for our holiday getaway. Despite the rain, our visit was truly enjoyable from start to finish. The breakfast was excellent, offering a good range of basic dishes. The dinner menu was impressive and had something for everyone. The new extension of the hotel where we stayed was lovely, with comfortable beds, fluffy white towels, and ample hot water. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially with recommendations for places to eat in the area. The gardens and beach opposite the hotel provided stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. a memorable and satisfying stay.

Having experienced the wonderful service and amenities at the hotel, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I gotta say, the value for money at this place was on point. The room was absolutely brilliant, especially with that split-level setup and a balcony overlooking the water. And let me tell you, the location right by the sea was just lovely. The staff treated us like gold, always friendly and super helpful. Big shoutout to them!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. the prices were very reasonable, offering great value for money. The hotel's attention to detail was impressive, from the tartan carpets in the rooms to the recently renovated bathrooms. And speaking of the rooms, mine had a beautiful view of Loch Etive, which made my stay all the more enjoyable. Additionally, the breakfast served included a variety of options for early risers, including meat-free choices.

I had a lovely stay at a charming hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The old world charm of the hotel added to its unique character. My room was clean and comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep in the cozy bed. The food at the hotel exceeded my expectations and I enjoyed a delicious meal. Although there were a few minor issues, such as the lack of milk for tea and the dated decor, they did not dampen my overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel for its lovely ambiance and friendly staff.

What a wonderful trip! You won't regret staying here. the staff were friendly and helped us with all our needs. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the water and bridge. the room was cozy, but had everything we needed. the bed was super comfy. the menu at the Bistro had great variety, we especially enjoyed the Frickles and the hearty portions. the whisky bar looked like a fun place to enjoy a drink. Breakfast was just what we needed, even the restricted menu had plenty of choice.

The bathroom was small and there wasn't enough space to put our wash/makeup kit. the decor is a bit dated, but added to the charm factor.

Despite the inconvenience of the stairs, the hotel's location near the Connel railway station was ideal for travelers arriving by train. the opportunity to relax with a refreshing beverage, like a Guinness, added to the enjoyable atmosphere.

The lack of an elevator made it quite difficult to reach our room, especially for those with mobility issues.

Additionally, the hotel was very close to Connelly ferry station and the "falls," which were fascinating to observe. We would definitely consider revisiting this hotel if we are in the area again.
