The room was spacious and comfortable, with a separate area for hanging clothes and a small fridge for convenience. The views from the breakfast room were stunning, overlooking the countryside and hills in the distance. The breakfast itself was delicious, with a good selection of cereals, fruits, and a satisfying cooked option.

There were a few issues that detracted from the overall experience. the internet connection in the room was poor, forcing me to relocate to the lounge for a better connection.

The difficulty in finding a taxi on a Saturday night in the area, which made getting around a bit of a challenge. there were no baby hedgehogs in sight during our stay, which was a bit of a disappointment as we were hoping to see some.

The breakfast options were great, with allergen sensitive choices available. The views from the hotel were stunning, and the proximity to Simonside Park was a bonus. The service provided by the staff was excellent, and they gave great recommendations for activities in the area. Highly recommended.

The WiFi was not working during my stay. the description of the room mentioned a "view" but I ended up with a view of a concrete wall.

As bike riders, we loved the separate walk-in hanging space and the fact that the room had a small fridge and tea making facilities. The farmhouse lacked soundproofing, so noise from other guests could be heard.

With fantastic views of the Simonside hills and surrounded by beautiful countryside, the location is simply breathtaking. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and quiet, allowing you to fully relax and unwind. The breakfast served in the conservatory offers even better views across the valley. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The en suite bathrooms are well-equipped, with a shower and double-ended bath.

Some younger guests may find the room decor to be more suited to an older audience.
