farr bay inn exceeded our expectations during our valentine's day stay. the hosts were lovely and friendly, the homemade food was extremely good, and the comfortable rooms felt like home. the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful north coast, with a stunning beach just a short walk away.

Directions to find the inn were confusing.

During my Christmas stay at the hotel, I really enjoyed the amazing coffee house situated nearby. The coffee was delicious and the price was very reasonable. The staff were very welcoming and their unique decor added to the charm of the coffee house. The location was perfect for a quick stop along the NC500 route and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a caffeine fix during their travels.

I encountered some negative aspects during my stay. The towels provided in the hotel room looked quite worn and could use an update.

We definitely got great value for our money at Farr Bay Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the stunning sandy beach. The staff, especially Luke and Karen, were amazing - warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay.

The hotel breakfast menu could use a bit more variety to cater to different preferences.

I had a truly enjoyable two-night stay at this hotel. the location is absolutely stunning, situated in a remote area of Sutherland with a fantastic beach just a few minutes' walk away. The beautiful golden sandy bay was a sight to behold, and the peacefulness of the surroundings was simply extraordinary. Secondly, the service provided by the staff was exceptional. From the warm welcome we received upon arrival, to the attentiveness and helpfulness of the hosts, everything was top-notch. The staff made us feel like valued guests throughout our stay. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with great facilities and some original features adding to the charm. The lovely bathroom in bedroom no. 2 was a particularly pleasant surprise. this hotel offers incredible value for money, with its attention to detail, stunning location, and fantastic beach nearby.

We had such a fantastic stay at Farr Bay Inn! The friendly family running the place saved a table for us even though we arrived really late. The location, just a few hundred meters from the beautiful Farr Bay, was incredible. Our room was spacious and had a toothbrush charger socket, which was a nice touch. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all incredible with high-quality food. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.
