We had a fantastic stay at this lovely lodge nestled in a peaceful woodland setting. The breakfast was exceptional with a great range of options, including a fresh fruit salad and a delicious cooked English breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The room itself was comfortable and had thoughtful touches like a fridge, quality biscuits, and even wine and champagne glasses. We also enjoyed the beautiful walks nearby and the option to swim in the pool, which was a great way to relax after a hot day. our experience at Felbrigg Lodge surpassed our expectations and we highly recommend it to others.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel nestled in the beautiful woodlands of North Norfolk. The rooms were comfortable with large, cozy beds and convenient amenities like a fridge and microwave. The attention to detail was evident in the breakfast, which was served on lovely hot plates and included delicious local produce. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring our stay was enjoyable. We even received a bottle of champagne to apologize for a minor inconvenience. All in all, great value for money in a tranquil countryside location.

our recent stay in aylmerton was nothing short of delightful. felbrigg lodge exceeded our expectations with its secluded gardens, excellent indoor swimming pool, and friendly staff. the well-kept furnishings and comfortable rooms made it a truly enjoyable experience.

The difficulty for elderly or disabled guests to access the pool.

If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, Oak Lodge is the perfect place to stay. Tucked away in the rural woodland, this hotel offers a tranquil atmosphere where you can unwind and recharge. The rooms are spacious and homely, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day. The bathroom is immaculately clean, ensuring a pleasant and refreshing experience. The staff are attentive and friendly, making you feel welcome throughout your stay. The breakfast is of a high standard, with fresh ingredients and a great variety of options. Plus, the beautiful surroundings add to the overall charm of Oak Lodge.

One downside, however, is that the light bulbs in the bathroom and hallway sometimes hang out of their sockets, which can be a bit inconvenient.

We spent our New Year in a cozy little cottage near the beach. the living room was nice, and it had a lovely fireplace that we used every day. the breakfast was good, and we were able to choose from a variety of dishes. the swimming pool was nice and clean, and we swam every morning. the location was perfect, a short walk from the beach and the town. We were also able to bring our dog with us, which was very convenient.

The cottage was not very clean when we arrived, and we had to ask for someone to come and tidy it up. There was also a strange smell in the bathroom that wouldn't go away.

This hotel is a gem of a find. The value for money is excellent, especially considering the beautiful location. Being so close to the Felbrigg estate is perfect, and we had a lovely walk there. The staff are genuine, lovely people who clearly care about the hotel and their job. The rooms are fab, with clean and very good quality furnishings. The large bedroom/sitting room was a delight, with lots of windows looking out onto the trees. The basic amenities are very homely in my opinion, making the rooms feel cozy. And the breakfast, although slightly underwhelming for the price, is still very tasty and sets you up for the day.

Hard to fault really, but the WiFi could be improved.

Couldn't stay longer.

Upon arrival, we were personally shown around, which was a lovely touch. the room was spacious and had beautiful furniture. the bed was the best hotel bed I have ever slept in. In the morning, we enjoyed an excellent breakfast with quality local produce. the location was quiet and peaceful, and we especially appreciated the separate rooms, which gave us total privacy. the staff also made our elderly dog feel welcome, and we were able to leave him alone in the room while we had breakfast. it was a great experience that we would recommend to our friends.

Not obvious to find

Had a wonderful time at a scenic retreat with my family. Stayed in a cozy chalet surrounded by nature. Enjoyed the hot tub outside and explored the beautiful woods nearby. The owner was friendly and the dinner was excellent. highly recommended!

the noise from the kitchen below our room was quite loud and disruptive. Lastly, the lack of regular TV channels was a bit inconvenient.

The rooms at this hotel were so spacious that we could have easily spent the whole day just lounging around. The staff were super friendly and the basic amenities were well-stocked, with a large tea tray that was refilled every morning. The location of the hotel was perfect - secluded and surrounded by a small forest, making it extremely peaceful and quiet. We loved looking out onto the trees from our room.
