The warm greeting, exceptional room and views, cleanliness, and delicious food were all 5 star. Linda and Ian were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. If you're looking for a relaxing rural getaway, definitely stay at Fernside. 100% from us.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

De locatie van het hotel was perfect voor toeristen die 's avonds op stap willen en laat thuiskomen. Het hotel was gemakkelijk bereikbaar met de auto en had goede verbindingen met het openbaar vervoer naar het centrum. Binnen 20 minuten waren we in de stad dankzij een goede metroverbinding. Het hotel was gelegen in een rustige omgeving, zonder geluiden of muziek, en slechts 2 minuten lopen van de metrostations die je naar de gewenste bestemmingen en het stadscentrum brachten.

Helaas was er één negatief punt. De speakers of televisie van de buren waren 's ochtends vroeg zo luid dat we er wakker van werden en dachten dat het geluid in onze eigen kamer was.

The hotel provided a luxurious and exclusive experience with its exceptional amenities and stunning scenery. the friendly staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, ensuring a comfortable stay. the room was beautifully furnished with high-quality decor, adding to the overall luxurious experience. the private facilities were exceptional, creating a truly exclusive and relaxing atmosphere.

The only slight issue was the lack of black out curtains in the room. This minor detail did not detract from the overall experience.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Fernside . From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel so welcome and attended to. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, with a stunning view from the balcony. the hosts went above and beyond by adding special touches like balloons for my partner's birthday. Although we regretfully didn't have breakfast, we could smell it being prepared and it smelled amazing. the experience was top-notch and we can't wait to return.

The breakfast, served in a lovely conservatory with a stunning view, was delicious and offered a great variety of options. The property and our room were immaculately clean. The hosts went out of their way to ensure our comfort, making it the best B&B experience we've ever had.

Spent Easter at an idyllic countryside bed and breakfast. We were warmly welcomed with homemade treats and enjoyed a delicious breakfast with local produce. the views of the rolling countryside and nearby lake were breathtaking. the spacious room was cozy and featured high-quality linens, making for a comfortable stay.

The winding country roads were tricky to navigate, especially at night. the lack of nearby restaurants or shops made it difficult to venture out for meals and activities.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming bed and breakfast in the countryside. The location was absolutely stunning, with a conservatory that offered breathtaking views of the rolling countryside. The breakfast served was simply heavenly, complete with homemade granola and jams, as well as Aga roasted dates and apricots in cinnamon and orange. The room and bathroom were immaculate, providing a comfortable and luxurious stay. The service was exceptional, with attentive hosts who went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay.

While the accommodation and breakfast were exceptional, I did find that the Wi-Fi connection was a bit unreliable at times.

I had a fantastic stay at this charming B&B in Devon. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable and the facilities provided were of a high standard. The location was perfect, with stunning countryside views and the peacefulness of the natural surroundings. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The breakfast offered was delicious, with a wide selection of freshly prepared food and locally sourced ingredients. I will definitely be revisiting this hotel for another relaxing trip.

Fernside has all the qualities of a quintessential thatched cottage, with immaculate rooms and high-quality furnishings. the hosts, Ian and Linda, were perfect and provided a scrumptious breakfast each morning, including homemade bread and preserves. the location is perfect for exploring both north and south Devon, with idyllic views from the bedroom balcony overlooking the garden and hills. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.
