The value for money at Field House Guest House in Windermere was excellent. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean, and the breakfast served was substantial and freshly cooked. The staff made us feel right at home, and the lake view from our room was simply amazing. Being located in the center of town meant we could easily walk to local restaurants and shops.

We stayed at Field House Guest House for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, with the lake and restaurants just a short walk away. The hotel was quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep on the firm mattress. The staff were friendly and accommodating, offering a warm welcome and going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The view from our King room was stunning, and everything we needed was within walking distance. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the spacious rooms had all the necessary amenities. a fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house! the room had a stunning view of the lake, and the bed was super comfortable. the breakfast was cooked right in front of us and was absolutely delicious. We were even able to customize our meal to accommodate our dietary preferences. the non-stop supply of coffee and toast was a great start to the day. the location of the guest house was perfect, as it was centrally located and convenient for exploring the area. We would definitely recommend this B&B to others and would love to stay here again in the future!

Although our overall experience was fantastic, there were a few minor drawbacks. the room itself was a bit small and some of the furniture appeared worn.

Conveniently located near pubs, restaurants, and the lake. Upgraded room with spectacular lake view. Friendly staff allowed early check-in and provided private parking. Comfy, clean room with ample breakfast. Lovely host and comfortable beds.

The location of the hotel was excellent, right in the center of town and close to restaurants and shops. The view from our room was also very nice, overlooking the lake. The owner/manager was friendly and easy to reach. The room was comfortable and warm, and the breakfast was delicious and fresh. We also appreciated the free parking at the rear of the hotel. Despite a couple of minor inconveniences, we had a pleasant stay overall.

You can easily walk to the lake, the pier, and all the shops and restaurants. The staff here are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable and have all the facilities you need, including a decent shower. Plus, the breakfast is included and the hot drinks are a great way to start your day.

The only downside I can think of is that the curtains could be a bit thicker to make the rooms darker. But overall, everything was fantastic.
