Absolutely MIND-BLOWING stay! Comfortable, spacious, well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, convenient location, and friendly hosts.

I recently stayed at Fishponds Lodge for one night. The purpose of my visit was to tour the nearby university the next day. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there was even a washing machine available for use. The location was perfect, with a bus stop right outside the front door and supermarkets within walking distance. The property owner was friendly and helpful. Great value for money, I would definitely stay here again.

Parking was a challenge.

the shared kitchen was well-equipped and tidy. the property is located outside of the city center but there is a convenient bus route right outside. There are supermarkets and a laundromat nearby. the property owner was friendly and helpful. great value for money and I would stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of our room was impeccable, making us feel comfortable and at home. The hotel facilities were excellent, providing us with an oven, fridge, and washing machine that you don't usually find in other places. The location of the hotel was perfect for us as it was right next to the bus stop, allowing for easy transportation into and out of the city. We also appreciated how the hotel was situated in a quiet area, close to green spaces, and within walking distance of a big supermarket.

Fishponds Lodge was clean, spacious, and comfortable. the room was noticeably clean upon arrival, and the ensuite bathroom was a nice addition. the beds were comfortable, and the communal kitchen was well-equipped. I appreciated the easy check-in process with the key in the lockbox, and having contact details for the staff made me feel supported if I needed anything.

The room was comfortable and spacious, with a Netflix TV that provided great entertainment. The kitchen diner was large and well-equipped, allowing me to make tea, coffee, and toast for breakfast. Despite the noise from the road, I slept well throughout the night. The shared bathroom was not an issue as the house was not fully booked. it was good value for money.

As a tall person, I found the height of the bedroom in room 4 a bit small. Additionally, the location of the hotel was a bit far, requiring a bus ride.

Well equipped kitchen with cooking facilities and a large dining table. The property was spotlessly clean, including all communal areas. The location was convenient with easy travel into the city center by bus or taxi, and there was a good curry house nearby.

There was only one toilet/bathroom, which was located on the top floor. The parking situation was a bit difficult, with limited availability on the street.

Parking was a breeze, with free daytime parking nearby. we highly recommend Fishponds Lodge and look forward to staying again!
