We absolutely loved our stay at Fitzwarine House Whittington. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly tidy. Debbie, the owner, was a fantastic host who provided us with little extra touches like fresh towels, toiletries, and glass bottles of milk. The breakfast and lunch pack were delicious and perfect for our family. The pub next door served excellent food at a reasonable price. We also felt incredibly safe during our stay with the numerous bottles of hand sanitizers and surface cleaners available throughout the property.

Felt like a home away from home, no complaints.

Guests can also appreciate the warm and comfortable rooms, as well as the welcoming and helpful hostess. The breakfast, delivered to the room, includes a variety of options from toast to a full English, ensuring a satisfying start to the day.

The noise from the main road outside can be occasionally bothersome.

fitzwarine house was a delightful surprise during our group visit to oswestry. great location, spacious room, spotlessly clean, and an amazing view. friendly staff, free parking, and a nearby pub with delicious food made our stay memorable. highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable trip.

I had a lovely stay at Fitzwarine House in Whittington. the view from my room was breathtaking, with a perfect view of the castle. the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the attention to detail in the room was impressive. the room was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed, including bathroom products and tea/coffee. the breakfast had a great selection to choose from. the nearby pubs also served delicious food. And to top it off, the cats at the B&B were very friendly!

The rooms were old and had uneven floors and stairs. My husband had trouble with the narrow steps because of his mobility issue. There was no Wi-Fi or phone signal in our room, which made it hard to stay connected. Also, the rooms facing the main road were quite noisy, which made it hard to sleep at night.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the spacious and clean rooms at Fitzwarine House. The comfortable beds and clean bathrooms with both a bath and shower were a plus. The B&B felt like a cozy home and the location, just opposite Whittington Castle, was beautiful. We also appreciated the parking availability and the option to have fresh milk in our room. The breakfast offered a good variety of cereals and cooked food, ensuring a great start to our day.

Stayed here for New Year's and had a great time! the location was perfect, right across from a beautiful castle. the room was clean and comfortable, and I loved having tea and coffee making facilities available. Plus, the breakfast was delicious, with a vegetarian option and perfectly cooked!

The only downsides were the noise from the road, which woke us up early in the morning, but the hotel did provide earplugs. the bathroom could have used a shelf or stand to put our toiletries on, but overall it was modern and clean.
