The breakfast was delicious, though room for improvement in dining room presentation. Despite minor issues, the historic B&B is a gem along the Cotswold Way, offering a cozy retreat and delightful meals.

Our room was cozy with a luxurious bathroom, and the bedding was heavenly. We enjoyed a warm welcome with tea and scones, followed by a delicious breakfast. the Supper Menu was a delight, and the house's ambiance was truly special.

The location of the B&B is absolutely stunning, nestled in picturesque grounds with beautiful views. The building itself has a traditional charm, with a cozy and homely atmosphere. The rooms are well-maintained, offering comfortable beds and a lovely shower. The breakfast served is delicious and full of flavor, catering to different dietary requirements without any trouble. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making guests feel right at home. the absence of a TV in the room adds a refreshing touch to the overall experience.

The hot water supply in the shower may be inconsistent at times but does not significantly affect the overall wonderful stay experience.

Our stay at Forthay Bed And Breakfast was absolutely delightful. The cozy cottage atmosphere and warm log burning fire were perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the delicious homemade breakfast, including the mouthwatering poached eggs. The beautiful countryside views from our room added to the charm of our stay. Over the weekend, I had an exceptional time at a stunning countryside B&B. the warm welcome offered homemade treats paired with tea/coffee and pleasant conversation with the hosts. the quirky details of the house's 17th-century design were charming. With picturesque surroundings, the location was perfect for an escape from the city buzz.

The steep stairs were a bit of a downside. As someone with back problems, it was a bit difficult to navigate.

The cooked English breakfast was top-notch, with delicious sausages and bacon. the hosts were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. the property itself was beautifully designed and had a quirky yet comfortable vibe. the garden was also a lovely addition to the overall atmosphere.

There was intermittent noise from a boiler in the attic twin bedroom, which could be a disturbance for light sleepers. there was no mobile signal on O2, although the property did have excellent Wi-Fi, so it wasn't a major issue.

The value for money at Forthay was excellent - the room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The location was peaceful and tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts, Deb and Charles, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home.

The breakfast option could be improved with a wider range of choices.
