We had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel near the beach. The view from our top floor room was amazing, overlooking the boating lake and seafront. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway.

The Furzedown was great value for money with comfortable, clean rooms and a lovely beachside view. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

The hotel offered a convenient location, being close to the pier and town centre, with the seafront just across the road. the breakfast was top-notch, with a delicious full English and good quality sausages and bacon. the staff were friendly and welcoming, adding a homely touch to the stay.

The toilet seat was discoloured and loose. my partner's meal was underwhelming, with bland chicken and rice that resembled congealed thick rice pudding.

Had a great time at this hotel during Christmas! the food was amazing, especially the roast dinner - such generous portions. Loved the sea view from the room and the comfortable beds.

The heating in the room was not sufficient, especially during the cold winter weather. It made the room quite chilly and uncomfortable at times.

The road to the hotel's car park is quite narrow, which could be a bit challenging for those with larger vehicles.

Spent Easter weekend at a charming seaside hotel. Loved the delicious breakfast buffet, especially the freshly baked pastries and eggs cooked to order. the hotel's location near the beach was perfect for morning walks and taking in the sea view from our room. the staff was friendly and accommodating, always making sure we had everything we needed. Bonus points for the hotel's pet-friendly policy, as our furry friend was able to join us on our mini-vacation.

While the room was clean, the bed was not very comfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the small bathroom was a bit of a challenge to maneuver in.

The warm welcome and friendly staff made our stay at this hotel truly enjoyable. the room was clean and full of character, with a lovely bathroom that had a bathtub - perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring. the location was great, just a short walk away from the pier and all the action.

That there was no lift. However, the manager and cleaning team were very helpful in carrying our luggage up and down the stairs.

We loved the beachfront location and easy access to the main areas of the town. The sea views were perfect and it was great to see the wind farm in use. The staff made us feel like visitors to their home with their warm hospitality. The food was fantastic, with a menu that catered to all tastes. The breakfast was especially memorable and kept us satisfied all day. The rooms were beautifully decorated, capturing the essence of a seaside town without being dated. we had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning, hopefully with our dogs.
